Week 38: A tabletop object

Daniel

10 points to anyone who knows whose car this is.

Debbie

Love having Melanie pop over for a chat, even if she does sit on top of the table.

Grant

Every table needs a nice shiny bauble.

Melanie

Not the photo I had initially planned to use, but when you randomly come across a vintage tabletop sale and there are that many flat caps with a bright yellow motoring of Britain map, you just have to take a photo.

Sharon

I had no ideas. Days went by. Still nothing. Then, an egg. It’s an object, I thought. I looked around the kitchen for an egg cup, saw the vase, saw that the egg fitted into it, took it to the tabletop. Voila. As simple an image as you’re likely to find…

Tim

Yes, you’re absolutely correct; last week was fruit and vegetables. But these tomatoes were just so photogenic, and they fitted so well in the bowl on top of the table, that, well, here we are again…

Next week…

Our week 39 theme is: Self-portrait #4…

Week 37: Fruit and vegetables

Daniel

Unfortunately I haven’t been getting my daily dose of the 5 and 2 this week and veggies have been scarce around the house. I was hoping to visit the market and get a nice shot of all the fresh bright produce but that didn’t eventuate, so with time running out today as I’m out in the garden I look up and see this lovely bunch of bananas. Not just a good source of potassium, they saved me a last minute trip to Woolies.

Debbie

A Russian riddle – She came from the east in a beautiful red dress and when she undressed they all cried. Can you guess what I am?

Grant

Anyone for a peach?
Yes thanks, said Mr Parrot, but I’ll only have a bit from each one and you can have the rest.
PS. they are very tasty.

Melanie

These aren’t just any old Kiwis; they are M&S Kiwis.

Sharon

A colour palette of fruit and veg. And then there’s a slice of orange, just to mix it up a little.

Tim

Perception is not reality…
